This story holds the news values of impact, timeliness, currency and proximity.  Former New York Governor Spitzer wants back into the politics.  It is very impacting if he does gain back the trust of the New York population considering his past history of lies and scandal.  Although, his scandals may be looked as less damaging than current Governor Paterson's scandals that are brewing.  Many people are claiming that at least Spitzer got work done.  I guess we'll see what happens in days to come with who gets to claim the Governor's seat in New York since it looks like Paterson will have to resign soon anyway.
