It is quite strange that the female eagle pictured above and her male counterpart got so lost in their hormones that the male ended up dying. She is recovering, but it is unusual for these eagles to have such a problem. It is just good that the female at least survived so reproduction is still a possibility.

Most recently a female from Tennessee adopted a 7-year-old boy that expressed very violent behavior and instead of trying to cope with it and getting him help she sent him back to Russia with a one-way ticket. That sounds a bit unlawful and Russian authorities are fed up and are ready to pull the plug on allowing Americans to adopt Russian children if this keeps being the result.
